
I decided to cover this song because the bass line is really cool and although it sounds very unreal when synthed I found it very organic as I played it, especially the chorus line. The guitar is also covered although I didn't find it very interesting. Note that the solo part is not played... I didn't take the time to learn it :)
Now what is this song trying to say... Let us remember that subjective matters are associated with Bellamy's writting, which in my opinion makes Muse's songs timeless and worth considering. This song is about the desires we all have, and how they change us. If the goal is not fundamentally noble, or the cause is justifiable, the means of achieving succes may not be always on a righteous path. Let's not fool ourselves, this is not your average straight forward I want you rock song.
