1440 AM - Weather and traffic newscast

Today I payed a visit to the radio station that hosts my traffic and weather report. Since I do such reports remotely, through my Sprint phone, I had never been to the actual studio.

I meet some people with a bunch of experience on what not to do. Which is liberating, I never heard something such as: This is how you do it! It follows some sort of crazy capitalist Laissez faire modus operandi... Oh wait that's exactly what it does. If you buy a block, no one has control over what you say. Sure there are disclaimers with which the owners of the station evade any liability but other than that it's complete freedom of speech in the most pure way. That doesn't necesarily mean that like in economic theory, there is an invisible hand that procures an equilibrium. It is a major stylistic mayhem.

It was pretty cool and one of the interesting thins I found there was some very old looking equipment. Gotta look into it because I really have no idea of what it does, if it even works or if it is usefull but it certainly looked cool. Either way I had a good experience overall and I'm glad I took the time to actually go there and get to know the people that make me sound so cool over the martian airwaves yuhu! :D

P.S.: I'll be posting some of my interventions on my blog pretty soon.

Here's the file:
