Sargasso Sea, the only sea without shores, located in international waters, areas where many ships and crafts have been reported missing. An area that has inspired many urban myths such as a hidden place where extraterrestrials have established themselfs, Atlantis´s location etc. This sea was not thought to be a liveable area because of the high concentration of salt, though it has been found to be home to some seaweed of the genus Sargassum and a wide variety of prokaryotic life.

So Isaac Brock had been living in his mother's second story flooded house until he was evicted by the police as a safety measure. He was living in a shed next to his mothers trailer, when he met drummer Jeremiah Green and bassist Eric Judy first began playing music. They jammed until they had enough material to publish and so after reading the Virginia Woolf stream of consciousness essay The Mark On the Wall in which the author described the working middle class as "modest, mouse-coloured people" he came up with the new band's name.

Now the band Modest Mouse, pushed out this video for the song Dashboard that tells a story about a fisherman. He's caught alone in the Sargasso Sea, battling a high tide when he spots as giant fish... a nice trophy he thinks. Well let's just say that everything could have gone worse.

I don't understand what he's saying!!!! Ok you can find the lyrics Here.

Modest Mouse - Dashboard
