Ok late again I know, but this time I have a good excuse (not that I need one anyways.) It was my dad's birthday yesterday. I just want to say I love him so much. Let's carry on...
Tuesday's Indie feature song is performed brilliantly by our friends from Dashboard Confessional. One cool thing about this video is the fact that they, as many bands do now-a-days, including Sigur ros, Queens of the stone age and Velvet revolver, actually held a contest for people to co-operate and create videos for the songs. They were all posted on a trackaday's blog friend site... yeahh right this site has no friends yet ( except for you ;P ) Well youtube.com is hosting all of this fan videos if you are curious about other entries. Oh and check out this crazy idea, there's a Queens of the Stone Age song that is called Make it wit chu... well Josh, the band's leader originally asked fans to send videos from their make out sessions to use in the production... Naughty... anyway he ended up hiring people to kiss and cuddle and who da hell knows what else, now that is my kind of job. Enough of that rubbish.
So the video I show here, as far as I know, became the official video for the song. They took the idea and polished it but this is the original you guys, the unsigned version. Very Indie isn't it.
The song is a pretty mellow song and has a nice sing a long chorus.
